My kids have an obsession that I never realized was so easy to come by.
Luckily, I’m fine with making a big frickin’ mess just to make them happy.
Here’s how it all went down:
Want to make your own slime? Here’s how I did it:
How to Make Your Own Slime at Home
(6) 6oz boxes of lime Jell-O
1 1/2-2 gallons of warm water
(1) 15 oz bottle Johnson’s Baby Shampoo
7 lbs white flour
(1) .25 oz bottle of green food coloring
Medium-sized trash bin with handles
Pour all the liquids into the bin, then add the Jell-O, stirring until it dissolves. Slowly add in the flour, whisking it to get rid of lumps. Let it sit a few minutes, then whisk it again. Do this a few times, and you’ll be mostly lump-free. Add water/flour until you get the consistency you want. This makes about 2+ gallons of pourable slime, which you can see me pouring on my kids in the video above. Have fun!

This is a sponsored post, but the love of slime and the KCAs is genuine–as is my kids’ request to do this again very soon.
