My InThePowderRoom article “Her Future Fat Thighs“ was re-published on HuffPostParents, titled “Teaching My Daughter to Love Her Future Body,” and it was really interesting to watch the passionate reactions of thousands of people to it. I’ll talk more about that later, but I should note that it ended up going a bit viral, making The Huffington Post‘s online front page (next to President Obama!), getting spread around the globe.
Because of that, I made this week’s Awesome Moments in the Powder Room, and was asked to be on CNN HLNtv’s Raising America with Kyra Phillips for the segment “Does Fatherhood Need a PSA?” with @ArmyWives101 and @BertShowBert to discuss my article and two other parenting topics:
