…because you have other shizz to do.
Where I’ve been this week on the www.
All summed up so you can move on with your life.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
I went to a blogging/writing conference last weekend and some photos were taken of me. The world did not end, despite my anonymity. So I shared them & some things I learned.
During the conference, I had an elevator experience during which I almost pooped in my thong and had to calm down a weeping friend while 3 of us had anxiety attacks. But, really: IT WAS SO FUNNY.
But what was almost funnier than the story itself? Some of the comments to my post about it. Like my very favorite one, from Angela:
Some of you have been around here since the beginning, and know I’ve been working on a book manuscript for a few years. I’ve updated that whole story HERE, and wanted to tell you that I’m pretty much done. Which is nauseatingly exciting.
My post at InThePowderRoom this week was about what to do with the kids all summer. I’m going old school. How about you?
Do you want to win a $500 shopping spree or $1,000? Then read this. Or this.
THIS on Buzzfeed amused me to no end. Then Brenna from Suburban Snapshots gave a shout-out of people you all should be following, and I whole-heartedly agreed.
I love this tweet:
My new mantra: “Google it, bitch.” Coming soon: “No offense, Grandma.”

Speaking of Tweets, NickMom.com chose one of mine as a Funniest Parenting Tweet of the Week. Check it out, baby.
My blog is now available on the Amazon website for Kindle subscription. I will magically appear on your Kindle or phone’s Kindle app without having to search the www. Fancy.
I have 4 wonderful blog sponsors (purchasers of ad space) who make me happy and help pay a babysitter so I can write this summer without children hanging from my neck. Please help me show them some love by checking them out & Liking them on Facebook. Thanks! If you are interested in advertising here, ads start at $15/month (details here).
NinjaMom Blog = Smart, funny, why aren’t you reading her? Writes for NickMom!
Abby Has Issues (the Book) = 100% profits from the sale help animals in need.
