I’m an outsider.
Most of my friends (and the female half of the country) can be found glued to their televisions each time The Bachelor or The Bachelorette is on. They witnessed each Kardashian take a walk down the aisle, can quote The Millionaire Matchmaker and know how many carats are in each of the Real Housewives of Wherever’s ginormous engagement rings.
But these shows make my blood boil. Call me traditional – boring, even – but I simply don’t get it. I explain why – and what I wish would happen – HERE in today’s post. Do you agree with me? Disagree? I’d love to hear your thoughts on it all.

AGREE!!! They are to me, WORSE then watching a Soap Opera!!! I’ve tried to partake–just does not agree with me….
Worse than a soap opera! At least with those you know it’s all fake, without repercussions…
Yeah…I tried to watch….on occasion I’ll watch the final show but then I’m just disgusted. Now I definitely watch TV – I just like the drama to be fake – Covert Affairs – something to fold laundry to when it’s not the radio…. btw, So thankful to have found your site – you rock!!!!

I can’t fathom watching any of those tv shows…. They honestly make me want to puke and worried about the future of our kids, being raised on such trash!

oh hell no…not this girl…I dislike all reality shows…dislike is not a strong enough word but hate makes it sound like I have issues…ok, I have issues, I really hate reality shows!
I have my issues with most reality shows as well. Most of them make fools of the contestants, which makes me wonder what ever happened to personal pride? I’d NEVER sign up for something that is known to humiliate its contestants/cast. Yet so many people do so quite willingly. I just don’t get it.
