Which is the lie?
My brother once accidentally knocked me unconscious with a lead pipe when we were little kids, and I have no recollection of it.
I danced with James Gandolfini at a family wedding.
I was a Stepford Wife.
Mike Piazza, the baseball player, once hit on me in the Las Vegas airport right in front of my husband.

Which is the lie?
I’ll give you your answer on Sunday – Mother’s Day – and share a little more about each Truth.

I bet it’s not the first one. My brother knocked me out with a golf club. I’m gonna guess Stepford wife is your lie.

Um, ouuuuuch!
That was my pick too – WAY too easy!

So you’re going with Stepford Wife, too? Interesting…
You’ll see whether you’re right on Sunday!
I’m so totally shitty at this game. So. Totally. Shitty. I’m not even gonna try. For all I know, you played a Stepford in a production or James Gandolfi (doesn’t his name sound all Tolkien) is your godfather.

C’mon, not even a guess??
I promise to explain all 4 in a few days….
OK. For the sake of sportsmanship, I’ll go Mike Piazza.

Nice!
Going with Gandolfini because I believe Mike Piazza when he said he wasn’t gay so….there’s that

LOL!
I’ll let you all know who’s right in a few days.
I’m going with Stepford wife being not true.
Brothers do stupid things, if you were lying about James Gandolfini you would have picked someone hotter, and athletes are dogs. Mike Piazza was probably unapologetic about it.

I love and adore your reasoning.

Okay, Ziva, ditto ME or ditto the Stepford wives?
Both!

Hmmm .. I find it completely unfair that we have to wait a few days – but I’ll bite.
I think it’s the first one … although, if I were clocked in the noggin, I’d have no recollection of it either …

Thanks for playing! Will post the answers on Sunday.
I vote for Stepford wife. There is no way someone as witty and sarcastic as you would fit in, and I mean that in the best way possible!! I am guessing there are going to be some GREAT stories Sunday. Can’t wait! I will be flying back from NY and will have time to kill in the airport with my kids probably eating lots of candy.

I think Smartphones were invented solely for parents stuck in airports and doctor’s offices with their kids.
“Three?” she mumbled, with little to no confidence whatsoever.

Aw, take a guess. One….tiny…guess.
I definitely bet that you being a Stepford Wife is a big lie. Being hit and knocked out is definitely some situations that happen. Although I have a little bit of doubt of you having a dance with Gandolfini.
Hmmm…which is it, which is it…?
Stepford Wife. Final answer!

You’ll find out Sunday!
I vote Stepford Wife. My older sister hit me in the head with a baseball bat, so the lead pipe seems completely believable. And Piazza and Gandolfini are famous enough names to be recognizable but not “tip of the tongue” famous — like George Clooney or Derek Jeter.

I’m a bit unnerved at how many people are saying they have been hit in the head with something very hard as a kid by a sibling? Is this an epidemic??
I am going with the lead pipe as the lie because I think it is too believable to be true. I’m looking forward to the celeb stories, but I bet The Stepford Wife story is the most interesting one. Ellen

I love hearing the rationalization for the choices…and yes, there are interesting stories behind each one.
I’m going with StepFord Wives is not true. All the others are too outrageous so people would think their not true, which means they must be true. Can you handle my crazy logic?
Now you’ve got me so confused, I can’t remember which is the lie.
I think it’s the first one. Or the second one. Or maybe the third. I’m not sure if I should comment on the fourth! This was fun – thanks for linking up.
LOL! I didn’t get all literary & fancy like so many others who linked up, but I figured this might be fun. And I even managed to sneak into the linkup in the last few minutes.
I’m going with Stepford Wife! I can totally see Piazza digging on you!
TheKitchenWitch recently posted..Just a Damn Salad
LMAO! So I’m a Piazza kind of girl, in your mind? Innnnnteresting….
What a fun idea! I’m going to break out of the mold and guess that the James Gandolfini one is a lie, because I have no idea who that is! lol Stopping by from the SITS Spring Fling, by the way!

Hi Kathryn – and welcome!
James Gandolfini is Tony Soprano from the HBO series.
I’ll share my stories about each truth (and the lie!) on Sunday…
Thanks for coming by.
I think they’re all true, except that would be cheating and you wouldn’t do that. So I think the lie was the dance one, but there’s still a grain of truth in it – instead of dancing it was actually a firm handshake, the JG was really Jim Gaffigan, and rather than a wedding it took place in a Mariott Inn hot tub. Let me guess – I nailed it, didn’t I?
OH MY GOD WERE YOU THERE WITH ME????!!!!
