“There’s nothing cute about it,” he said. The register of his voice indicated decision more so than discussion.
She disagreed heartily and privately, staring past his head and out the window behind him.
It was mindless sweet-talk, she meant no harm.
The steering wheel suddenly felt uncomfortably hard in her back as she felt the passion leave him, shrinking away in the palm of her hand.

Wow. I read it a couple of times. And, yes, I got the same image. Plus a few others involving performance shortcomings.

I see her sitting on a guy’s lap, a little older than her, and having all their…um…progress come to a halt. Men can be sensitive, can’t they?
Oh. My.
Personally, at that point, she can start quoting the Farm Report and I wouldn’t care…

LMAO!
Heck, at least she had her mitts on the little guy, right?
OMG – would you believe I didn’t get this at first. I can be such a dunce (hi, dunce two). Now….hahaha…especially the last part. No, no, no, no….never, ever, “cute”. Hahaha-you’re crazy! (but in a good way)

I take that as a compliment.
It’s gettin’ hot in here. . .
Excellent. I most liked the hard steering wheel in her back and the cute-but-not-so-hard manhood in her hand. Great image.

Exactly, my dear! As something gets softer, something gets harder. Oh yeah.
Uh-oh. Car sex just turned into car-ex. Sigh.

That’s quite a vivid image and a ton of resentment packed in 33 words! =)

I gotta admit, I was thinking “tiny penis,” too.
Love what you did with it! (That didn’t sound right, but you know what I mean.)

And it wasn’t even cold in the car. Oh boy.
I couldn’t help but laugh at the hard steering wheel and him being, well not-so-hard

Sometimes a girl doesn’t notice how uncomfortable she in while gettin’ it on in a car, until things get…um…awkward in the car. Oops.
Sexy and sharp. It took me a minute to figure out why the steering wheel was poking her in the back. Duh.

Thanks. Yeah, it’s been quite a while since I’ve had to make out in a car, but I think I remember that steering wheel in the spine feeling.
(Just don’t tell my mom I said that)
I hate it when the sweet talk turns sour. Sheesh. That man has no humour. I’m so thankful to have someone with an amazing sense of humour. Otherwise I’d likely be very divorced.

Yep, she sure hit a sore spot with that guy…
As a sharp-tongued gal myself, I have learned over the years that wit isn’t *always* appreciated. Funny slice of life and a great response to the prompt.

Ha, I know this as well. Learned it the hard way. (No pun intended)

He has no sense of humor does he? Loved the car sex….Too bad he didn’t. His loss and she should hit the road!
