Stumbling Down Memory Lane For Your Enjoyment

It seems that my traffic here is picking up a bit since being voted as a Top 25 Funny Mom on Circle of Moms, and they officially listed the link on their site.

Thanks, you sexy voters, you! *winks seductively*

Since this week I am away with my husband spending loads of time at the spa while he golfs reconnecting, I don’t think I’ll be able to come here and be all freshly funny.

So.  I’m going Old School on you, and tossing a few links right here for all you new visitors that include some stuff that I’ve been told made people snort things such as coffee, wine and yogurt out of their noses while laughing.

I aim to please.

The 3 posts mentioned on Circle of Moms are:

Why Parenting is Like Clubbing in NYC
(#12 is about when some weird dude corners you on your own couch)

How to Pick Berries With a 3-Year-Old was a true delight to experience first-hand, especially the bit when I was watching my kid angrily throw ill-chosen shoes at barren raspberry bushes.

Unqualified happened mostly in my head when I was pissed off about vacuuming for the 17th time in a day.

But you also may enjoy reading about…

…me drunkenly dragging a 10′ Xmas tree around my house

…my revision of the lyrics to Cee Lo Green’s “F*** You”, as directed to my children

…a fecal comparison that will never allow you to look at Yogi bear’s arm the same way again.

…my facial hair

…or that thing that happened in that public shower that time

I hope you enjoyed this trip down memory lane as much as I did…and I also hope I see you around here again soon!

I’m glad you did this! I only found you a few weeks ago and hadn’t read most of these. Unqualified is Very familiar. I’m messy. Always have been and always will be. Being messy with five kids, who are also slobs, makes for a not so clean house. There are just so many more things to DO than vacuum and fold laundry!
    Very funny stuff.

Oooooh, the Christmas Tree post. AWESOME. One of my faves.

Man, I am behind on reading blogs. My garden has seduced me and I have been outside every free second I get. Damn nature. But I am staying up late and catching up, and of course getting lost in your fabulous posts! Yay!

I think the C Lo post is still my favorite. I just re-read it and laughed again out loud. C’s new favorite singer is Rhianna and I have already had a discussion about how she can’t sing the fun S S M M song at preschool. Or anywhere.
